IT Products and Services Contest
Description
For this IT Products and Services Contest, participants are asked to use their imagination to create engaging projects. More precisely, participants are required to showcase their creativity and analytical skills using data and other resources on the ReSAKSS, eAtlas, and AAgWa websites to develop a project that addresses a development challenge faced by Africa.
Rules
→Explore ReSAKSS data (ReSAKSS, eAtlas, and AAgWa)
→ Choose the data you need*
→ Create an IT product /project of your choice that addresses a development challenge for Africa ( the scope can be local, regional, or continental)
→ Submit your work and methodology before the end of the contest deadline.
*ReSAKSS data has to be used but can be combined with other data. Each candidate will be asked to list all data used and to provide a description of his/her project in a methodology document to be submitted alongside his/her project.

Timeline
The IT Products and Services Contest will open on July 12, 2024, and will close on August 20, 2024. Applications will be made through this dedicated ReSAKSS Challenge website.
Prize
Only the 1st prize will be attributed for this IT Products and Services Contest. The Winner will receive $1500 USD, and will be awarded during the 2024 ReSAKSS Conference.
